im interested in one or two of these, but I want to start out using a 36volt system and later would like to upgrade to 48v or even 72v later as money comes in. Is this fairly easy to do? are there instructions? or can I have them preconfigured?
Just get Lyen to set the initial LVC (low voltage cutout) for 36V, after then you can run the higher voltages as you like. If you want you can always set the LVC higher (but you don't have to do that) if you want a higher LVC. Make sure you get the programming cable with it when you order it, as you will definately want to program it later, and get the CA attachment and a Cycle Analyst (if you don't already).
These are a great controller for your purposes (ie starting at 36v but looking to go to 72v later), and allround great controller, Lyen is the man. Cheers, Phil.
