It was only a matter of time before the big boys stepped in. While it probably means we back-yarders will have our arses whooped, it might result in cheaper, better e-motos.

I don't know if anyone ever saw this documentary about Suzuki and it's founder Michio Suzuki and how it all started. It did impress me and I fell in love with the brand, even though I never owned a motorcycle. Suzuki brought us the sport bikes, putting race bikes on the streets. The company reinvented itself many times and I feel that if they're going to compete in the TTXGP, they are reinventing again. I'll be very interested to see what comes out of what they will learn racing E-Superbikes and what it's going to bring to us in the future. I hope it's a near future, I would be ditching the scooter and getting myself a brand new E-Suzuki for sure.
Is it ready yet?

That isn't Suzuki building an Ebike, that is the team that runs one of Suzuki's race teams building an Ebike. I'm sure they have some great technical guys for building bikes and suspension, and will bring in some great technical guys for the motors and batteries, but they definitely don't have the resources of Suzuki actually building one. I'm not saying it's not great for the sport/industry that these guys are getting involved, I'm just pointing out that it isn't Suzuki.

I'd like to electrify my Harley, but I am afraid the battery pack to run the sub woofer system to create the rumble would be bigger than the pack that drives the bike

To illustrate the vain conceit that the universe must be somehow pre-ordained for us, because we are so well-suited to live in it, he mimed a wonderfully funny imitation of a puddle of water, fitting itself snugly into a depression in the ground, the depression uncannily being exactly the same shape as the puddle."
