Hi!

I have 80 brand new (unused, 0cycles), 5,35Ah lipo cells for sale, ex Polyquest, now know as batterist.

They are bought in may 2011, I need only 216 of them for a 4,27kWh pack, for my racing I bike I am ordering new now.

Asking 12€ per cell, can ship world wide.

You can make something like this from them:

For what it's worth, at $15.6/(3.7*5.35) = ~0.788/wh. Which I think is considered steep. I am assuming that these are not special high C rated lipo cells (in the range of 20-30C is my assumption). If they are, that might be something you should post. However, I acknowledge that it's certainly a good deal compared to what some of the brands might sometimes retail for (assuming polyquest is one of the hobby brands that you find in a hobby store). But in general, on ES, maybe not.

The cells are rated at 18C cont. and 25C peak.

I can organize cells with higher c-rating, but they are heavier and larger.

Where are you? US or Europe?

Since Euro price I assume Europe. If so, where abouts? I am in Jersey, Channel Islands

I need to build a pack of 148 volts...15 Ah minimum...do you have enough for that?

I can't quite work out what the individual cells are?

OK, I understand the 3.7v but the bit that says ( 5,35Ah ).....is each cell 7Ah and they are in blocks of 5 in parallel?

The price would need to compete with what I can get from Hobby King

You might want to list your location. Since you selling in Euros, I assume you are in Europe. From what I understand, if you've paid import taxes in your country you can send small packages of goods to other countries without being double-taxed, even if their taxes are higher than yours. Exploit ze fundamental flaw in eurozone (I'm exaggerating, but I just mean the discord between the universal euro and different economies/economic policies), and I think that's your best chance of selling these. You'd have to sell to someone who would be otherwise hit with a high tax on the batteries if they bought from any place other than the EU. This price is pretty high otherwise.

I just had a thought, do you mean
5 point 35 Ah 5.35Ah = 5300mAh

...not 5,35

that would make more sense...but if that is the case 80 cells is not where enought for what I need.

If my first assumption was correct, that there are blocks of 5 cells, each block at 7Ah and total 35Ah per block ...and you have 80 blocks...then that is loads for what I need

I think he means 5.35ah, because if you divide the number of kilowatts hrs he says the pack of 216 makes by (3.7*216) you get 5.35.

In europe they sometimes (always? cant remember) have prices with commas instead of full periods. Kind of makes sense, but it looks very weird to me.

Ah, yes,you could be right, I never tried to work it back from there.
But saying that, I live 14 miles from the coast of France, and spent most summer holidays over f Franc as a kid, and can't ever remember seeing it written like that before. Probably right though, but it does look weird non the less

hi and sorry for the late reply,

yes we in europe use the "," instead of the "."

US style: 3.7V/5.35Ah
EU style: 3,7V/5,35Ah

I am located in germany, shipping to anywhere in eu will cost no extra tax

148V nominal are 40 cells in serial, so you need 120 cells.

Got a new delivery with 300 pcs yesterday, I need 264 (24s11p) of them and I have left around 82 from the last order. So some are missing, but I can order new ones for you. I will send you a pm.

Price will not compete with hobbyking, because they have a lot higher quality level.

Bought 900 cells now and all showed up with the same voltage (3,79V-3,81V) and now faulty cells until today.

I wish I could :-) - bought already 1000 cells, first order was 400 cells and not only 300 :D

Bought 400 for the 2010 e-Power series and used 48 in my pocketbike and 260 in my epo-bike v2.

Another 300 for an electric carbon enduro that will show up here in a few days and now 300 for 2012 e-Power series :-)

thanks

Hi Adam,
at 1C/1C they are rated with 500cycles, at 22C/1C with 50cycles. But between this two points it is not linear. You can expect a lifetime much closer to 500 than to 50...
