The board with the black metal deck is not mine. It's Andrew's.. He was planning to build a mountainboard like Humboldts, but after seeing the flexboard he decided to electrify a flexboard instead. It's for a school engineering project and it looks really good. We keep in touch, but lately I have had to shelve my project due to my work moving but plan to get back to working on it soon. I ran into an issue with my sensor board and i have an idea of how to fix it but have not had the time or resources to try lately. Andrew if your monitoring this give us an update on your progress.
as for the yellow scooter its nto mine either.
The one made by Peter N is really a work of art. I chose to try and reuse as much as I could from the stock design to keep costs down whereas Peter's board is done without compromises. He pretty much designed all new parts. I like that he has his axels on concentrics so he can tension his chain that way and his motor remains fixed. He also has idlers which is nice since his motor does not need to move... His sprocket interfaces key into the bearing holes on the hubs which aid in keeping the sprocket concentric with the axels...
