lithium batteries up for grabs

Postby steveo » Wed Jan 04, 2012 12:24 am

Hey Guys,

I have about 41 of these cells up for sale they measure about 7-8ah each at nominal 3.7v

continous discharge that i tested is 20 amp continous; 30 amps peak

these are very similar to the yardworks cells, however they are about double the width & a tad taller...

I have 2 sets of 7 cells configured in (2) 25v batteries with bms & 3 lose cells; i have another 24 cells configured in 1p24s pack

this is a nice little pack for the "normal ebike rider" that is not doing drag runs like me ...

this is enough battery to build a nice 74v nominal pack; at about 16ah; very easy to configure because of there prysmatic shape

none of them have them have ever been abused, these came out of some ebike bicycle packs that ran 24v

my 24s 1p pack is in the 12-14lbs weight range, not to shabby...

asking 8$ a cells

please pm me if you have any further questions

thanks
-steveo

Used emoli cells from power tool packs are LiMn and run about 3C continuous. The makita cells on the other hand even used will give 10C, not sure why but they are definitely superior. I'm just a little wary of buying lico cells. anyway, Steve check your inbox for my offer.

You still haven't told us what chemistry they are or what type cells or what they're originally from...
That would prolly help with sales..

hi

sorry if i wasn't clear, i believe they are lithium magnise cells, similiar to the yard works pack.

these came setup originally in 7s1p packs for 24v electric bikes

they have very few cycles if any on them

Just wondering- are these good enough LiMn to self-balance? I noticed you say some of them were configured with a BMS.
