The all-arounder: 8T MAC motor on a Trek 4500.
The girlfriend bike: 350W front MAC on a 700c Trek.
The wheelie machine: 20" Rear Magic Pie II on a Trek 4300 MTB
The Bus: ??? on a 'da bomb' cargo bike frame

Pro-tips for noobs: Avoid BMS Battery like the plague | Charge RC Lipos to 4.15v, stop discharging at 3.5-3.6v | Use torque plates/arms! | Rear mounted hubs are always best

THANKS AW,
Sent my letter, easy as pie. Also plan to get all my friends to send one, but they aren't bikers so who knows.
1st build: Dahon Jetstream folding bike. Quick, reliable, capable of 30mph. Light enough to lift, folds for easy transport by car/bus/train.
2nd build: RC powered 2009 Norco A-Line. Top speed 31mph. Built like a tank, it's resistant to Boston potholes, can stop on a dime, easily goes up/down curbs when necessary.
3rd build (just started): Scratch build ultimate utility bike.

As an outside observer to what goes on in Merica it seems to me that the power elite aren't even pretending to give a crap about the slave classes anymore.

Lessss, I agree "99%"

It's not enough that cagers kill about 100 people in the USA every day, or that about 4 of those are hit and run homicides. Now the republicans want to subsidize bad air, obesity and energy dependence that much more. WTF? We need to send some of Fechter's magnetic douche bags http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=36451 to the House of Raperesentatives.

Yes, he stated we have a safety net for the poor??? He said his concern is for the middle class. ...Guess he's not too aware how many have left the middle class to have become chronically poor for years and decades now.

Sleeping outdoors in freezing weather, limited food & meal services in remote or isolated locations, mentally ill & alcohol/drug or sick or homeless are left to the streets to fend for themselves. If you don't have family in our society, then you are gonna be shit-canned w/o some real help from someone. Giving "change" at the street lights only exposes how morally weak our society is ... after all, Romney knows we have a safety net for the poor. Frack that is "socialism". The class hatred is so very real ... what fools they all are. Fiat, food, and shelter is not that hard to do ... even education or trades for each his talents can give. Instead we go for wage slaves & the race to the bottom overseas ... hollowed out our hearts & minds here ... and strengths as a moral nation worthy of its natural wealth and heritage. Hate... government, work at a living wage, and education... our anti-nation implodes in selfless selfishness.

Alert update 3-14-2012

Thank you! For weeks, IMBA has urged you to contact senators and congressional representatives and ask them to retain funding for the vitally important Recreational Trails Program (RTP). Today, we are proud to tell you that your efforts were successful.

A bipartisan amendment, introduced by Senator Klobuchar (D-MN), was recently included in the Senate transportation bill (MAP-21) with the effect of saving the Recreational Trails Program. Last week the program had zero funding in the Senate, but thanks to thousands of mountain bikers calling and emailing from coast-to-coast we were able to protect $85 milion for building, improving and maintaining trails.

Yeah, darn it, they probably planned for a larger set of campaign contributions for putting this back than the money actually put back in the budget, even IF it actually gets spent as intended.
