Would You Fly in Something the Size of a Sidewalk Pedalcar?

When the video started I thought it was going to be an RC plane. The airframe is actually a time honored design for gas engines.

The vid skipped the two most important parts, takeoff and landing. And the crowd seems to be treating the pilot like he's a daredevil. The plane looks too small to fly carrying a human payload.
But if you look at the gang making these, they look like a level-headed bunch. It comes in a 4 engine version.

More information about the Cri-Cri:

This is a proven and well-known design in the aircraft homebuilding world. Only real problem with it is that bigger-sized adults can't fit in one.

Saw that awhile back looks like fun to me sure I would fly it if I ever got the chance.
Just pretend that everything is OK maybe no one will notice.

If you're willing to ride a bike on a city street, the risks flying a little plane are tame in comparison.

I'd get in one of those planes too. But I don't foresee anybody lending me theirs, so, the only route is to build one. I wonder what it would take.

Hope you are not in the U.S.A. The last time I checked they would not sell anything associated with the Cri Cri to the U.S.
