Battery Placement on Nirve Switchblade

Postby greenmountainski » Sun Mar 25, 2012 1:20 pm

So I am thinking of buying the Nirve Switchblade and mounting a Life Po4 battery on it or NiCad, or whatever. When looking at the bike...

I want to mount the battery on a bit of the lean if you are to look at the bike with the fork on the right side of the comptuer screen.

I want to have the lower left hand side of the battery right where the seat post and chain guard meet, and the top left corner of the battery where the seatpost and top frame rail meet. The lower right corner of the battery would meet the middle of the forward frame rail. The Top edge of the battery would run along the top frame rail. The bottom of the battery would just clear the pedal when you spin the crank.

My question is....

Is having the battery on a slight lean going to decrease performance/life of the battery??

Thanks and info will help!!
