Hey guys, thanks for the kind words. Im getting good at falling gracefully :-)
No damage to the bike at all, just the bar end plugs did their job well. You can see the take off ramp earlier in the video. Way to steep so it just throws you high in the sky with little forward momentum.
Worst part of my foot is my heel, cant put any weight at all, or bend at the ankle. Im a quick mender though.
Nice video too Hyena, wish we had that weather!

It's rained here literally all summer this yeah, it's been terrible.
This one was one of the first sunny weekends in ages.
And on that note, here's another vid from the day, in the dirt this time :)

Bomber #40 about the same age...got it last year now with 3600 miles. Would have been far more but the winter got in the way.

Is there a Bomber owner here thats handy with metal that could make me a battery box for a 2nd battery? My aluminum rack does not last more than 500 miles with an extra 25 lb battery on it. On long trips I run both in parallel.

I was thinking maybe it could mount on the seat post but be below the seat on an angle to get the weight lower as well but it would need to clear the wheels travel. If it cant be made that way a steel stronger rack would do.

I'll "try" to draw a picture :)

If interested please contact me name your price...I'm not looking for cheap....thanks

Just coming up to 6000km (3750ml) Mine is 18 months old and has always run on LiPo's. 165 cycles so far and batteries still feel great. Considering 200 cycles out of LiPo is considered good in the RC world, it just goes to show how easy ebikes are on LiPo's. I think I will have no problems getting 300 cycles plus out of this pack.

Puts into perspective how long the stock pack will last. Even at a very conservative 500 cycles, you will get a good 5 years out of the pack. And by then who knows what new battery tech will be available.

For the record I have 6 x 6S 30C turnigys, they are nearly 2 years old, I still get the same performance as I did from new, I have only charged to 4.1V and with one exception :P have always stopped at 3.3-3.4V per cell, batteries running 2 parallel mainly then 3 parallel for longer runs, I am pretty sure I will see another couple of years at this rate, they get charged 3 full cycles every week, although the norm is to charge at 50% capacity with the occasional 80% drain at the weekends.

You simply cant get better bang for your bucks, light, very powerful, super long life, cheap, easily available, as long as you manage them properly they are safe too :D I think if I were ordering a bomber or a fighter I would ask if I could have it without the battery and the charger.

Yeah I was going to put music to it but I figured the sound of the dirt bikes (being left behind :) ) etc added to it.
The video clip of 'old man down the road' might be suitable too for ebikes, with the power cord running all through the forest

And yeah I pity the fool who is still lugging around lifepo4 :P
My first turnigy pack was retired a little while ago with around 800 cycles on it and it still has more in it but I wanted to upgrade to higher voltage and couldnt be bothered reconfiguring it. It has puffed ever so slightly but still delivers 85% capacity before hitting sagsville. I haven't been particularly kind to this pack, and took it to LVC a few times - and I'm talking pack level LVC too, and I never bothered with cell level monitoring after the first few months. I checked the balance probably once a month (charged the battery twice daily 4 days a week) and balanced it only 3 times in nearly 2 years of use. So basically did everything we tell noobs NOT to do, and still it delivered the goods :)
