Not mine or anyone I know , but I know it's a well desired motor with the disc mount.. If it was a rear id be interested but alas Front.

Ah looks like it may be new. Should I have this moved ? Sorry.

Yeah smart idea with NOT getting this motor. It may as be mounted on forks made of Swiss cheese  Lmfao.
I saw this motor not too long ago on eBay. Its only this motor and what ever super high priced products are being sold by High power cycles, when you look up '"crystalyte" on eBay.

What I do with these is I mount them on a BMX in the rear drops, with torque arms and no chain, it makes for a proper little dirt bike that will eat any terrain.

I agree with you, the sight of any X5 over 48v in front drops is purely madness.

Anything under 48v and its a waste of a good motor.

could you maybe install a cover from a rear motor so you'll have access to the bicycle drive train?

Axle will be too short. Once I did install a front motor on the back of a K-Mart single speed beach cruiser, which had 90mm dropouts for the back wheel too.

I don't think you would want to. I did that with my previous ebike and the rear dropouts being clamps together like that warped my frame big time. It was steel so it was good, but idk about aluminum. Anyone care to chime in?

yea I have a yuba right beside me now flipped upside down.. comment made me reach over and check out the front forks..
they do seem quite beefy. if I didn't have a mid drive kit coming (hurry up mid drive kit) id be pretty tempted to buy it.

Depending on your bike's rear dropouts/stays, you may be able to do what I have done to my 9C front hub to turn it into a rear. So far I haven't had any problems with it this way, though I only have a couple hundred miles on it as a rear:

I give you an A++ for ingenuity! :D What you did with the hub motor is a really good idea for people who are comfortable with their skills as a handy man and are willing to trash a perfectly good side cover. I bet if you bought that 5304 fixed it into a rear motor you would be able to sell it at a tiny profit!

Tyler Trinh (ES member) has this listed here recently under "Items for sale-New". I bought a Meanwell supply and a controller from him and he is easy to deal with.
