did they know it would run short on battery ?...or was it just more power draining than expected ?
I guess the idea was to show what a "box stock" Emoto can do, but boy it sure would have been nice to finish that lap ahead !

I blame Luke for not giving them bigger, better battery's !

What we all need is a smaller " size " battery with more energy in it...

Experienced rider + Awesome equipment makes for one awesome video. Its surprising how well the zero moves through the dirt.

you avitar is bigger then mine. Congrats :). Time to up the anti ;)

Always time to up the anti:) A heavy vehicle helps..
That was actually a bit poor, it was near 0 degrees in the winter and the pack sagged so bad the current limiter kicked in. I'll try and get up the courage for a full 300kw run now weather has warmed up;)

If you do a shortened version of the vid be sure to keep the clip of the guy stopping and toppling off into the mud. In fact, that deserves to be "giffed" and put on the "funny gif/pic" thread:D

Well while we're at it, I'll put my efforts up on the Avatar :) Mind you this was moments before smoking an Agni...
Voltron the Electric RG250 - Dual Agnis, Kelly 1200A controller, 6 kWh of A123 cells from Cell_Man and a shitty old chassis from 1985 :| Top speed 180 km/h, max current 600 A @ 100 V.

Say no to spaghetti junction LiPo! Assembled Hi-power LiPo packs of any size!

Come on Casey! If you want prototype racing, throw your leg over something with lithium in it :D

It definitely has some interesting advantages over the gassers. Aside from being unstallable and having high torque. Its also that it has a more consistent and much longer torque curve... instant throttle response throughout the torque curve... The motor probably can increase RPMs faster than the gassers, like every time there is a loss of traction and wheel spinning is needed in mud.

I'm guessing the Zero is a lot lighter than the gassers having the aluminum frame and all. It's amazing how he just "floated" past everyone. Funny as hell though...

There is another race comming up. Trev is gonna be on a Zero MX, Im gonna be on a Zero DS (assuming Im back on the mainland in time, and it doesnt conflict with other races.)

Nominal voltage is 66v for all 2012 Zeros.

We are going to try to race again in 2days, this Sunday. Same track. Should be dry this time though. :-)
