Is it too late to jump in on this? I'm in need for a high power motor for my next build, and I keep coming up dry when it comes to options.

Pro-tips for noobs: Avoid BMS Battery like the plague | Charge RC Lipos to 4.15v, stop discharging at 3.5-3.6v | Use torque plates/arms! | Rear mounted hubs are always best

So it was worth the 6 hours of driving to pickup my two motors(one laced in wheel) and bring Stephan's back to Quebec at same time.

Maybe I will get ambitious this weekend and get the laced one in a bike and running.

These things are not featherweights

Anyone get tracking numbers? I haven't gotten one yet. Should I be expecting it or will it just surprise me?

Hey Doc, or anyone that has one, Can you measure it so we can calculate the spokes we'll need? I've got the rim waiting,

I was examining the shipped motor and its phase wiring. The phase wiring at first glance doesn't appear to be 11gauge wiring. I checked Max's email from September 2011 and found this quote "Motors (all motors 420$) all will have 11G phase wires and will have ss411A for hall effects , SKF or NSK bearings and Disc brake mount."

How can I tell that these modifications have been performed?
