Thanks motomech,there are a lot of different ways to go with this one,I dont want to go with the two motors idea.but thanks for the input,,I think it would kill my battery and the cost of another kit and shipping.i tried to be cheap,I like the kit I got just want I asked for,but I should have spent the extra $...I have no one to blame but my cheap ass..the things you can do with the Mac is big..the bug has definitely bit me...

Sorry to resurrect/hijack but some helpful direction to existing threads please..........

..."buy another cellman battery in 48v, and use the old 36v one as a range extender when you want a longer ride. A less costly alternative would be to buy a bms and some cells from cellman, and convert your battery to 48v."

are there good examples so I don't have to bother cell-man? I'm interested to learn more about the "charge port" method as well.....
