MethTek Spring Cleaning - (Sale Over, see last post)

Postby methods » Wed Apr 11, 2012 10:12 am

I have a few HT3525 & HS3540 hubs in stock that I would rather not have to move to the mountains....

HT3525 laced into 26" (with a "no cut wire" guarantee)
HS3540 laced into 20" (either or)

Normally I sell those for $395.
For this spring I will throw in the following for free:

7spd 11T-30T freewheel
Modified freewheel removal tool
Regen throttle (either split twist or full twist)
Chinese Spoke Wrench

And since I am a hobo that lives under a bridge I will also pay $20 toward your shipping.
(typically this will mean shipping is Free to the west coast, $20 to the far east coast, $80 to anywhere else in the world except Australia, $130 to Australia)

EDIT: We just landed the new Grin thick-ass rear torque arms and a truckload of CA's so let us know if you want to work one of those - or anything from my website into the deal.

Offer good for the HT3525 in 26" and the HS3540 in 20" - but I also have 9C 2810F in 26", 2812F in 20", and 2810R in 26"

I just make this stuff up randomly - so if you are looking for something different let me know
(other than looking to get a really good deal and not buy much  )

I have to admit that my customer service has not been as up to par lately as I would like it to be - so expect slow responses to PM's and emails. Shipping times have been more like 36 hours as well.

Question authority and ask yourself why you have to pick from the Republicans or the Democrats. That is a classical False Dilemma which is a logical fallacy. Don't be fooled by the old men who are in power and the people who have been cowed. I reject that reality and substitute my own.

What do you mean when you say "Cut Wire Mod"? Upgraded wires in hub to handle high voltage? I am a noob and sorry for silly questions.

When the HX35 motors first came out Kenny (Crystalyte) tried to make a market grab by eliminating the hall sensors. The idea was that the motors could only be used with sensorless controllers... thereby eliminating compatibility with 90% of the existing controllers on the market (provided by competitors).

It backfired... folks like me pushed hard to insist that the motors be made available with halls. Crystalyte did this - but the first few batches were done sloppy so there were a great number of hubs where the dust cover would cut into the wiring causing failures.

My batch of hubs came after the first corrections were made - but I none the less perform a modification to ensure the wires are held deeper in the channel where there is no friction. For this reason I offer a warranty - if any hub I sell fails due to cut wires I replace it no questions asked.

I can vouch for methods excellent return policy. It is right up there with Justin's of ebikes.ca. In other words, it's hard to find any better.

I have bought one of these HT3525 and it is great! I also vouch for Methods' service after sales, although responses may now take a day or two. Buy from him, and you won't regret it!

I am ending all sales of items that I did not personally develop.
The stuff is still for sale on my website http://www.MethTek.com but I will no longer advertise here in the forum.

It is time to end commercialism on Endless Sphere.
No more hawking Chinese shit for a quick buck

I sincerely hope you continue to discuss your adventures and wares on ES. Most everything you share is knowledge gained by us non-engineers. (Thanks BTW)
