You don't want flex in the wheel, but it can be stiff with thin spokes.
You can build as light as you are willing to assume maintenance.
Make it fool-proof, and I will make a better fool.

hmm....... do you think the mtx33 rim will need modifications to fit 12 gauge?

K. I am thinking of trying a tubeless front rim, just because it seems like a good concept. I can't find a place to get the Inferno 27 from Sun. Notubes makes a 28mm 29er dh rim...
