Yikes, reading this thread makes me a little nervous about what kind of expectations people may have!

Thanks all for the encouraging feedback, but just to be totally clear lest expectations be out of line. it still happens often enough that:
a) We will screw up an order and send the wrong parts
b) Parts are late to ship due to production delays or back-orders without proper notification
c) International customers are dinged with customs and brokerage hassles
d) Items fail shortly after use and need significant troubleshooting work and/or replacement
e) Email correspondence is accidentally delayed or dropped at our end

etc. etc. Huge credit to the many DIY ebike customers out there who have been tolerant and understanding through all this, and to Adam and Ben here who currently do most of the work handling orders. We try to do our best but there are lots of things we have learned that aren't easy about running a retail business, especially with so much product uncertainty and unreliability as we find in the ebike world.

Engineering design is almost childs play in comparison ;-)

Justin, sounds like you get worse service than all the rest of us - perhaps you upset the management? Try buying yourself some donuts to get yourself back into your good books

Ha funny you should mention that. I'd say my first direct experience with ebikes.ca was less than stellar (or atleast wasn't at the same lofty heights others are bragging about :P ). Basically I ordered a RC CA and a bunch of other bits and pieces, but when I hadn't heard anything for about 2 weeks I emailed asking when they'd ship/whats going on etc. They responded promptly however, saying they were waiting on some parts and they'd get it out asap. The delay didn't really bother me at all, as I wasn't in any rush. The part that I was unhappy with was the lack of a order confirmation email, and the lack of any coms to say that thing's had been delayed until I emailed 'em.

Really though I'm still happy, and I certainly wasn't worried given the rep justin has here, I guess I was just one of those that fell through the cracks  . I haven't used the RC CA yet, like I said... I'm in no rush. but I am very happy with the standard one that came with my controller from lyen. Awesome bit of kit.

Anyway justin, there's a sub 10/10 review (lets say, 8.5/10?) so that people dont start thinking you're superman... yet.

Well you can't be perfect Justin nor can Adam.
I ordered 2 torque arms for my bike and only received one. I sent you guys an email, and Adam acted accordingly. One week after the email was sent, and no questions asked, I got my second torque arm! :D One of the many things that sets ebikes.ca apart from everyone else.

The true test of any vendor isn't how they handle sales. It's how they handle problems after the sale.

In both regards Ebikes.ca gets a 10/10.
