NiMH charger 36volts needed

I need a charger for a 36v NiMH battery pack from a Giant Suede.

I only found new ones online, but I have not bought one yet. How much do U want for the NiMH 36v charger, and R U in the tri-state area?

The Tidalforce charger is designed to work with (surprise!) Tidalforce batteries including their integrated BMS. It will take a bit of work to modify it to work with non-TF batteries!

Its actually pretty simple. The third wire is a temp sensor input which needs a feedback. you can use a cheap resistor.

Yes, this charger is not for you. Just tried a 10k resistor from third wire to groung and seems to work. Has to be connected to the circuit at same time as the battery pack inorder for it to work. Possible to bypass internally, but
Probably not worth the effort.

Hello all! I'm a noob, and this is my first post. Has anybody had experience with the Tenergy 3A 36V Ni-Mh charger mentioned by Monstarr. It receives 2.5 out of 5 stars from the selling site all-battery.com and can be purchased cheaper at Amazon.com ...Problem is I too bought a used Giant Suede with its 2 original batteries and the charger. It rode fine during the test ride, but when I got it home the charger starting its blinking lights indicating it was charging correctly, and thus not charging. I thought the batteries were bad, and soldered up a new series of D-cells, soldered the old terminals up to them with [including the two resistors and the temp sensor (not sure if either of those are good, and if they may in fact be part of the problem)], but the charger still indicates with its blinking light that there is a problem charging. Any help or advice is appreciated...TIA!

You would be much better served if you created a new topic with what you stated in your post. Perhaps title it, "Giant Suede Battery Charging Problem" or something to that effect.

I use the tenergy/all battery 48V NiMH charger on my Prius 42s2p pack.
Works fine!

I just picked up a Giant Suede where the battery kicked the bucket, charger should still work. I'll take $20 + shipping.

NiCd and NiMH chargers are the same apparently as that is what ebikes.ca sent me for my NiCd I got from them a Nimh charger. Confirm this with others.
