pretty sure those are the same motors you guys want (not sure if it has disc adapters) that was renamed by another vendor
electricrider to phoenix etc..

http://electricrider.com/parts/motors.htm

You can even go to that page above and find the same names there to compare the pics.

I am not 100% so verify before purchasing , but based on what I know the above is true.

Who's going to take the bait?! :D
Haha I don't have that kind of money to get something that is just labeled wrong.
Is anybody in contact with Lyen? I don't want to be the 100th guy asking about these motors. Lol

I emailed Lyen, but haven't heard back yet. If it's the 3525 or 3540 or whatever I'm not interested. If it's a real previous generation 5305 that's another story. Wish the 54xx weren't so bloody heavy.

Well here's the quote, but I never deciphered it. Never heard of the HT3535 either. Kinda sounds like it's the older 5xxx series... maybe... :)

Lyen said in a PM, "As for the motor, for the version 2 be aware the appearance, weight, and size is similar to the one below except I only sell the rear sensored version:

http://www.electricrider.com/crystalyte/x-5303f-db.htm
http://www.electricrider.com/parts/motors.htm

Originally Crystlayte marketed the motor as HS/HT for the European market and 53xx for the North America market.

The price is for the plain motor only. I believe it is virtually the same as the HT3535."

Good luck! If you buy one let us know what you get. 8)

I wasn't going to point this out while I was still the high bidder, but someone on here should get this. The seller really doesn't seem to know what he has.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/140751003784?ss ... 1431.l2649

I also contacted him about shipping with out the batteries for less shipping. He responded that he would ship it without the batteries, but he avoided the question about if he would charge less shipping. Here are some additional pictures he sent me through e-mail. I was hoping I might slip by with a lowball bid but it looks like someone else smelled it too.

Yeah same here mate. It's courtesy, I'll wait for the best finger licking deal to get my hands on. It's the racer motor he's selling not the cruiser (5304). I'm in a hilly area it would stupid for me to buy it. But for $200, that's a steal!
He certainly does not know what he is selling.

Found another listing on eBay for one of those dual winding crystalyte hub motors

Go ahead and bid. I'm done bidding on it. I was only bidding on it to re-sell it and I knew that if I ended up getting it, I would have a difficult time letting go of it.

My brother! There hasn't been many videos of people racing HX motors against the 5303 hub motor... This ought to be interesting
