Hmm. I am not the expert here, but I do not think it really matters, especially when you have them on each side of the motor. With only one TA, things may be different, but I really would not know.

My frame is already bent outwards 5mm to allow for the motor + disc brake + enough room for the hydraulic caliper, therefore, there just is no room for any TAs inside the frame directly beside the motor. I have two torque arms (TA) on the outside of the frame on the left (disc brake) side, and another 2 TAs on the right (derailleur) side, also outside the frame. Between heavy acceleration and regen, I feel the axle hopping..., so even 4 TAs may not be enough to withstand the torque of >5kW.

I also bought the Doc TAs, but still need to weld them onto my frame.

thanks for your answer.
today i build in the 2 x H3540 motors.

oh
my
god
...
IMG_4010.jpg

to the rear: i can nonly apply 1 TA on the discbrake side. other side is impossible cause of the shifter. maybe i try a single gear setup and leave that damn shifter away
the ...mhhhh i dont know the english word for this part:
IMG_4005.jpg
but it also dont look very stable. CUBE make some good frames but i think i should reinforce the frame. or---------> new downhill frame (no not the small one thats for a friend)

to the front: in can attach NOT EVEN 1 TA. the caliper have contact the the motor. the discbrake bolts have contact to the fork. and the disc itselt also full contact with the fork.
my best solution for this problem until now also: new fork with more space.

DO NOT ride them now without TAs !!!!!
Both these motors are so strong that the axles will turn when you give them more than 1kW power.

You have been warned...

Hey i guess seeing you bought all teh cell logs that you didnt find a monitor for 24s etc etc.

I am having the same issue.

I have looked into EV car stuff and there is a few solutions they have that i am asking about but i am also in the process of developing a multi cell monitor device that can monitor say 36 cells on one display all at the same time. When i have some more news on it i will post about it on here.

Nice looking toy you got there BTW :P

Hi steam25
My build is going very, very, very,.... slow. At this point, i have my motor open, going to upgrade phase wires, install a temperature probe, open some venting holes and put a nice black paint. After that, going to re-lace with 12gauge spokes...after that...next task. I'm planing to start with 5000wt and see if its good...if its not, maybe push a little bit.
I see you have bought some nice gadgets. You have luck to live in the land of gadgets.
94 km   that's too fast for me. You need to have caution with that kind of speed.
Your bike, just looks seek...
Take care.

to upgrade the phase wires is wise. i should also do that. i think i smoked my rear motor. now its on the way back to crystalyte for check.
i also got that BBQ temperature sensor but the sensor is too big to fit. i cutted the sensor on the wrong place and now its broken. i will buy a new one. how to change the wires? i think i can never fit bigger wores in the axle than 2,5mm.
