Talk about anything and everything here within reason.

you would think so..but I have developed an electric vehicle that disproves that theory

Even with a thumb throttle, people have been unable to let it go, till it rips out of their hands.
It does 30mph..and the front wheel still lifts when you are doing over 20mph if you twist the throttle back too hard, and my current bike that I wrote this thread about does have a half throttle anyway :)

Even worse, it shows he's (dickselectric) no wheelman. But to some degree he's right. Above a certain much faster speed, trying to stop is the wrong manuver. You might be able to slide it to thread the needle, or do a classic laydown to much more effectively save your ass. Learning to lock the rear wheel and steer a skid is a starting point.

No trick rider myself really, not by todays standards. But I've done a stoppie from 40 mph on my death race bike. That's with the cheap rim brakes too. So even average brakes can stop you from much faster than 10 mph, IF YOU HAVE ANY RIDING SKILLS.
THE LIPO RULES. NEVER ABOVE 4.3V NEVER BELOW 2.7V DON'T PUNCTURE

Ideal charging /discharging range for Lipo, 3.65v minimum 4.1v maximum

See battery technology section, FAQ thread at the top of the page for lipo noob info.

@ Skunk, I think In Neils situtaion, I think he did the best he could. Letting go to pull a brake lever just allows the bike to pry out of one hand and fly off to the left possibly taking out the people on the side. When this situation occurs, the responsible thing to do is hold on to dear life and captain must go down with the ship, so yo say.

When I had this issue. Either it was totally flip the bike, or let go and watch the bike plough into all the town folk. The panic mode reflex has its advantages.

I think you got me wrong, I was quoting that dick guy on that unrelated post. I agree with you on Neil. I've probably done the same thing, once or twice. There's just no witnesses.... yet

LOL you dont require that torque for that scooter IMHO, maybe back off the current until you achieve an good eaqualibrium of torque optimum acceleration. That small wheel would certainly give you a jolt. BTW it looks like a fun vehicle..

However I cat get ove 30kph 18mph on my bike, still having programing woes. I set it to test the speed to 75% and since, it cant be set back and now the porogram cable is dysfunctional before I got through testing all the settings. Another topic though, I can live with 18mph for now..
