knoxie wrote:Nice video Tommy and no problems from Y I am sure about you posting it in his thread, didnt see them on your bike but are you running any torque arms on that motor? looks like a pretty cheap bike with a steel rear swing arm but still at those powers and as you are using regen you need to make sure you have at least one on and regularly check them, regen will loosen your wheelnuts and you will be in a world of hurt if that wheel pops out. Also fit a kill switch or at least get a decent throttle as again you are running high power on a cheapo lever hall throttle, go with a Magura, oh and also watch the voltage esp as you are wearing it, 133VDC can stop your heart no problems so be careful.
Sorry to nanny you but you seem like a nice guy with a nice camerakeep posting the videos but please take advice and stay safe.

Happy to report. all 7 packs show cells 3.81x to 3.82x volts !!!! so far so good !
So now i charge, ballance, cycle, and capacity test for the next few days.. and this weekend i re-work the pack into a 100v ( 24S ) and 13.5ah ( 3P of 4.5ah ) !!

Ypedal wrote:no worries guys, it's all good.. I cleaned up a bit, but pls, nobody take offence to it..

Ypedal wrote:I need to build a bunch of 3P wire harnesses, both ballance and power leads.. lots of soldering in my future..

Ypedal wrote:Added hot glue to all ends, prevents the wires from yanking out of place, i wanted to order the plastic holders from HK but they were on back order... so .. hot glue it is!

Ypedal wrote:sorry tommy, not the video you wanted to see.. but it's the one i made while working on the parallel harnesses ..
One iron is not enough, so i got 2 going, 1st one gets the joint hot and half soaked, the 2nd iron finishes the job...
and yes.. i know.. the copper bar and all should be wiped with solvent, but this is near impossible, getting all this into the copper ring, pinched down and then solderd.. works just fine.. i flush the joint with lots of solder that weeps out the bottom once everything is nicely coated.. i'm confident in this thing taking 100 amps without any issues.
