Whoa....I've had A123 M1A cells "jellyroll", but nothing like that!
Nice still of the electrolyte fireball. :shock:

I was holding the camera and must have blinked because I missed it.

I heard the sound and jumped back and all the sudden the battery cell was gone.

Went searching for it and found the parts about 15 feet away, picked them up and threw them into the fire.

They burned a little but most of the stuff that burned in the A123 cell burned in the blink of the eye.

I did not see the flame until I played back the video.
