The wheel only locks up whenever my CA is sending power to the motor. Other than that it spins freely, or well as freely as a motor should spin. I will take the capacitors off of the board and check them :-/, I hate taking components off of tightly packed boards.

I have a Turnigy Accucell 8150 and it seems to like charging to 4.18V/cell. The thing didn't come with any kind of manual so I haven't quite figured out how to change that so that I could lower it. Time to use the power of google/ES search bar.

Thanks for the reply. I found someone else with a similar problem and it seems the change in current dims the backlight LEDs. Maybe a capacitor will help smooth out the pulsing.
