Building 30 AH Headway pack with v2.03TPpacks Goodrum BMS

Did you ever get any feedback on this Lessss? I see you deleted your post. I'm experiencing the same issue with my completed v2.6 TPpacks Goodrum BMS board I just recieved. I have an idea how to wire from the BMS to the battery, but am starting to question if the way I have the battery (21s2p)...

    Headway Group Purchase

After I contacted Victoria, she advised me make sure the cells were charged and wait for the new BMS. I already disconnected the BMS so it could not discharge my batteries, and I don't feel comfortable reconnecting a BMS with an issue to my good batteries for testing since it is being replaced...

    Headway Group Purchase

Well the BMS was working fine one day and appeared completely dead the next(no output). I unhooked the BMS and charged the battery directly(watching it with a meter attached) and the charger cut out at exactly 58.4 and the cells were all evenly balanced. They all settled to 3.4v. AVS

    Headway Group Purchase

I had a BMS failure on my 4820 pack. Emailed Victoria and she said she would send a replacement. Not sure on the ETA though. This week I also tried to order the remaining batteries I needed through Victoria for my 22s2p battery I am building for my RMartin EVD and she will no longer return my...

LifePo4 Battery Packs for the Average Guy

dnmun- I'm really surprised at your willingness to defend LC, as I have read many of your posts trying to help people who were experiencing his "customer service". I appreciate your offer to help fix my battery, but it was shipped back to China some time ago as required by paypal to receive my...

LifePo4 Battery Packs for the Average Guy

I'm glad that some of you managed to get a good battery from Lau Chan/ Emma, but I think you will find an overwhelming number of bad experiences versus the few good ones. There is a reason they keep getting kicked off E-bay. It amazes me that some of you are so anxious to do business with...

    Headway Group Purchase

    Ebay Battery Sale

I'm very sorry to hear that Lau has added another victim to his list. The only way you will ever get any results with them is by using a paypal dispute. The emails will always come back that they are willing to do anything to help as long as you mail the parts back, which of course will end up...

    Ebay Battery Sale

He also takes so long to ship for free, that by the time you receive the "bad" battery, the listing on ebay has expired, and you cannot leave negative feedback, further disguising his reputation. Additionally this makes it more difficult to file a paypal claim. His free shipping gives the...

    Diodes and connections questions

So I really only need the diodes to protect one bms pack from another of higher voltage in the series? If connecting a 48v20ah LifePO4 and 24vSLA, would a diode be necessary? Since the BMS is on the 48v pack and is rated to handle that much, if it were to trip, then the most the 24v pack could...

    Diodes and connections questions

What size diodes are people using between battery packs when running in series. I have a 48v10ah and a 24v10ah LIFEPO4 on the way that I want to run in series for 72v and will be drawing 30-40 amps. When connecting the batteries together, should the diodes be on the positive side or the...

    Nicad vs Sla?

I'm using NiCads on my BL-36 I assembled from some 14.4 v tool packs I found cheap. They are only 1500mah though so I assembled them as 48v packs and I run them in parallel to gain Amp Hours. At 1.5ah per pack(2lbs per pack) I can run 4 together for 6ah (8lbs) and it gets me 2 miles to work and...
