    How-To: GT2B --> Badwolf v2

    I haven't done any prints with Shapeways previously but it sounds like their tolerance are different compared to standard FDM/FFF printing. There are no threads in the model, instead it's the hole is slightly smaller then the screw so the screw creates the threads in the plastic when you first...

    Great tutorial! Will link to this thread on the thingiverse page. Strange that the extension for the powerswitch didn't line up for you.. I guess you also tried rotating it 180 to make sure it was inserted the right way?

    Not a stupid question at all! The STL-files are all in mm

    Hm.. Thats an interesting idea I've never actually fallen off my board (yet) so I haven't seen that as a very useful feature, the transmitter would also have to land with the trigger pointing to the ground (very unlikely). But the files are up on thingiverse if you want to remix it =D

    Thanks! I have started buying my GT2Bs from this seller on eBay, its fast and cheaper once you calculate the shipping with Hobbyking: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251605321114

    Hey guys, I've finally uploaded the new version to thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:922378). Unfortunately I haven't been able to spend as much time on it as I would like to, in other words: you still have to desolder the usb-jack and move it. Some of the updates are: - Original...

    Weird Power Button Issues

    The FVT esc already has a built in on/off switch, if you short the thin red and white wire the esc will start up.

    Budget ESC

    The only way I know of programming the FVT 120A is with the programming card or the usb-link.. I used my first FVT without changing any of the default settings for a few months and it ran great. What would you like to change?

    Until VESC is available - your ESC of choice?

    The FVT 120A runs great out of the box on a e-skateboard/longboard, so no programmer is really needed. I did however get a programmer after buying my 3rd FVT to change the motor timing to high but it only improved it a small amount to the already great and stable performance. I'm not saying it's...

    I agree with Bandaro, the FVT 120A is really great. It's really small, runs cool (even with the fan removed), doesn't make that screeching noise when breaking like some other ESCs and it's really cheap as well.

    So I bought a lathe...and made Hub Motors

    Thanks Elkick and Pediglide! Im not really in to going faster then 30-35km/h anyway so using a higher voltage would be more for efficiency and range.. Will be soldering up a few VESCs next week so I can try a 6s and a 12s setup and compare.

    Do you have any numbers from testing Pediglides hubmotors?

    So I bought a lathe...and made Hub Motors

    Just ordered the 149kv version, excited to try them out! What voltage are you guys running yours on, have you noticed any difference in performance when using 10S/12S instead of 6S?

    Thanks sl33py! Plan is to have v2 in two flavors, one for those who can/want to move the usb-port for a "nicer" looking remote and one which will have a not require you to move it. I've been thinking about selling printed cases for everyone who doesn't have 3d printer (with some post processing...
