Propane gas is a good idea!! I saw a conversion of a small motorbike with a "gas-bottle". It's not impossible. From cars I know the combustion is hotter and puts stress on the engine. but that could be solved, I guess.

how/where can I find an "efficient" jet drive? and how much less efficient are they compared to impellers? edit: for an impeller, would it make sense to rewind a motor to have less RPM?

many times they put (non-exiting) products online to see the customer feedback. even show it ready to order. but will just produce it when enough people buy it. 2000-3000$ an other supplier...

what about a jet engine? high RPM and no need for gear reduction. I think that every additional part eats up efficiency. would a jet be better? (longer runtime?)

the "problem" with the price is, you need MOULDS for every part you see on that picture. these moulds are CNCd from steel (sometimes Aluminum) and they cost thousands of dollars. that means, they need to add the mould cost on their product too. also they have to ship things from China, pay tax...

the GF09 (girlfriend#9?) doesn't seem to be efficient. the graph DOES show a decrease of power-consumption, once the boat is out the water. but after that it shows a similar graph(shape) as before the lift off. I would have thought the graph after lift-off should be more flat?? in fact it is...
