Question on if my bike will work

I am starting to realize that some people are building their bikes to do traveling. like a replacement car. I just want my bike to drive around town so I don't have to pedal. and it's kinda cool too.

500 bux will this make me a good enough pack?

Thanks to everyone for their reply's So the 4 dewalt packs is a no go really because of the very low ah.? I want something that is about 25 - 30 lbs. so I think the Self built Nimh pack will do the trick, but you say it can't provide enough current? I am prepared to spend 500 bucks on batts...

500 bux will this make me a good enough pack?

Will 500 bux make me a decent enough pack to power my 5303/5304. if I went with dewalts, I could get 4 packs. or 500 bux worth of 18650's? any other Ideas. this whole battery thing is starting to burst my bubble. I am starting to see why batteries suck *price wize*

Question on if my bike will work

can't you just get a rear hub motor?

    ebike.ca x5 series hubs

i plan on ditching the rear brake as well. I just can't decide on the motor. I want the 5303 but ebikes don't carry it in anything bigger than 20" so then it's 5303 in 20" or I will spring for the 5304 in 26" or 24.

thanks for the reply, and Yes. good point. I am glad I have not purchased a bike yet. If I get 1 or 2 packs of the 36volt dewalt lithium ion batteries. will this do me good? or should I get 2x 25 18650 batteries and wire them. thanks
