What's the most efficient way to turn wood into electricity?

Wood gasification you can convert any ICE to run on wood gas and it is actually 33% more efficient than gasoline (btu to btu). you can run a car, a truck, a stationary generator to power a genset etc. I converted my truck 1990 GMC serria 350ci to run on wood, cruise at 90-100km/hr on wood...

WTF Amberwolf you are the man!! I don't know why my searching was not working, I used the same search term/ 100 other different combinations without any success. Anyway now I feel Like a big idiot but on the plus side you hit the jackpot. Found the spec sheet now just to find a FET that matches...

help with 12volt to 120volt inverter

So the only datasheet I could come up with is on a IPS FTP18N06 (note the FET is FTP08N06A). I can't find any information on the actual name on the FET itself. data sheet for FTP18N06 http://www.datasheet4u.net/datasheet/F/T/P/FTP18N06_IPS.pdf.html should I just get something similar from...

help with 12volt to 120volt inverter

Hello I bought a 2000 watt continuous/4000 watt peak, 12volt to 120volt stepped inverter off ebay (probably not the right thing to do but oh well). Anyway It was working fantastic for roughly a month and then all of a sudden it did not. I opened it up and it looked like one of the MOSFETs...

    removing hs3540 axle

puller won't work it will bend the thin metal of the stator. need an arbor press or better yet a hydrolic press to push the axle out. make sure you protect windings so that they don't get crushed when you push it out, also be sure you are perfectly inline/square before pushing the axle out...

    Hall sensor question for hs3540

in my experience with a hall sensor issue the wheel will try to turn but will lock up (exactly like a wrong wiring combo), however that is only with one blown hall sensor, the other two are usually ok. In your case it sounds like possibly all three are blown, I have never experienced this...

I am using "Mini BMS" http://www.cleanpowerauto.com/MiniBMS.html, The Centralized version. It is a little pricey but it works very well and it is shipped from somewhere in the US. They answered all my question very promptly. my bike has a relatively large pack 100v x 16ah headway so I detach...

Oil cooling your hub- NOT snake oil!

 several times (maybe 4) but it was first due to my axle breaking because of ill fitted torque arms, second due to having to change hall sensors multiple times due to the axle break and the hall sensors grounding to the axle from the insulation being rubbed off by the zip tie. every time...
