    1000w hubmotor for offroad hill climbing?

    I have had great luck with a 6t 1500 watt hubmotor for off road hill climbing at 48v 35amps and I weigh 200 pounds. Has anyone been able to coax similar performance out of a 1000 Watt hubmotor?

    Hubmotor quality

    I own two Leafbike hubmotors and i love them, however, one spins more evenly (better balance) than the other. Is this typical of hubmotors or are some brands much better than others?

    What I wish I understood before buying my hubmotor

    Don't buy a faster wind than your desired top speed or torque suffers terribly! I own two 1500w hubmotors and the 6t climbs off-road hills even at 48v that my 4t hubmotor cannot even at 72 volts and my controller overheats! My top speed with both motors is not that different at about 35 amps...
