    I agree, 75V system voltage ( using low Rds_on 150V mosfets) is very logical choice for safety and many other reasons. Not sure about the USA, but in the Low Voltage Directive in the EU states 75VDC as the absolute allowed maximum voltage for "portable" equipment.

    No BMS - Do you use a fuse?

    One possible choice is Littelfuse 0326015.MXP 15A, 125VDC, slow blow, ceramic 6mmx32mm. Sizing(15A): 15A=4h continuous, 20A=1h continuous, 30A=5 to 60 seconds. In reality, those 15A fuses never false-trip at 15A peak and can be used all day long, so sizing is really simple - just pick your peak...

    You have only two wires, TX and RX (green and yellow). If you connect your display or arduino the wrong way nothing happens.
