You don't want them:
- They're shipped not fully formed.
- Designed to be laser welded on the positive centre and the negative shoulder the same side.
- Impossible to resistance weld.
And very low C rate.
No good for DIY
what voltage and tyre size are you using?
I have a 3T and im trying to judge what I'll be expecting. I also have a burnt out 5k i want to later rewind.
the current system is 84v peak and 200a battery and 600a phase peak.
Is there no alternative or upgrade that anyone has found?
A higher Gauss magnet arrangement would mean a lower KV for given turns from my understanding.
Does anyone know where I can buy replacement 45h 45mm curved/bended/segment magnets or even 45hs, 52h, 52hs, magnets to fit the mxus 3k turbo? I can't seem to find the right size for sale anywhere. (Shipping to the UK please)
Thinner why is better As the ennamel is also thinner trust me been there.. I wanted to use 0.71. then I found 3 calculators that proved me wrong.. the 0.31 (so long as its the thin 150c coat) will give the highest copper fill every time. (For amature hand winding anyway)
Thanks for the photo, is there a reason that there are gaps between the edge series strips and the parallel strips?
Would it be better to reconfigure my layout out of a 5p clusters and into 5p rows?
I've removed all the strips seen in the previous photos so I'm open to options.
Do you mean like this or this?
Would you have any photos of designs like this? I'm currently traveling though the site on the lookout.
Thanks.
Currently remaking two 20s5p vtc6 packs I run in parallel to create 20s10p. (Removed all the original nickel strips to replace.)
The pack is based around trapezoidal 5p groups all hot glued together, I could rearrange the pack but don't see the need unless someone tells me otherwise...
