I'm looking for a BMS that will limit the output volts to keep RPM and Current max the same. Meaning if I run a 84v system at full charge, the BMS will only deliver 60V consistent until there is only 60v left in the battery cells and after that volts drop and user knows the battery is is close...

I took my parts to local shop they pumped out the parts in less than an hour for my aluminum tube. I used 8awg wire from motor to ESC, better safe than sorry... I'm not a fan of electrical fires or melting rubber near me :) Keep in mind the shorter the wires the more juice you can put through...

Yes, I did a 48 hour water test through warm water then cold as the motor will heat the air and contract (suck in cold water). Water test was a success but im still waterproofing my motor and bearings this week to protect bearings from moisture. You can youtube how to waterproof your motor...

I'm testing a few different setups with props 80mm, 110mm, and a couple different reduction gear drives. I ditched my Minn-Kota trolling motor and commercial suction cup system two years ago, just didn't like that setup on old windsurfing board... LOL funny but true...

It depends on your prop diameter. With 8:1 with 500kv, you are likely going to need a 150mm diameter prop. I'm going smaller prop size for a couple reasons. They are much more affordable for a custom aluminum assembly, lighter, and smaller making it tougher to get a foot/toe into prop ducted area.

I got the SSS 56104 500kv and have 5:1 reduction, also 3:1 to test along with another prop as well.
