    I have read here somewhere that a stock 500w internally controlled cyclone can handle up to "50V" without modification, what i was plannning on doing was running 36v off some makita batteries i use for work just to get a feel for how fast it wold be. Please tell me if I will just let the magic...

    I think the best route should be to invest in a mill of my own. There are small "desk" mills available and some second hand larger ones that will probably be priced right for me, I'll probably add the computer control part myself as its cheaper but once it is up and running I could help out...

    yeah you correct there, you can replace the bulb with a motor run capacitor and play with the values to get a fixed amperage pulse, it does make it a lot more efficient too. After treating an old 24v sla that i received drained down to 11v, it doubled the range of the scooter. another thing that...

    what size drive belt?

    That's pretty much what i was hoping to be able to do, I only have about 18mm workable space next to the motor on the first stage so a 15mm belt is perfect, now i just need to teach myself how to make pulleys and bearings in inventor. Neo
