While searching cells for my offroad project I found it difficult to get cells with a high power density W/kg and mid energy density that can still last more than 5oo cycles and are avialable for customers. Thats why I started this threat...
First great father and son project. I don't know the reglementations in canada so maybe it's not possible.
It seems like there wil be a lot of weight in the back of your scooter directly attached to the frame maybe you should consider to reinforce the frame a bit.
There might be twisting at...
in the pdf it says:
Packaging is convenient in our existing module hardware and easily scalable for multiple applications.
I guess thats a hint in this direction.
Paul can you get your hands on these?
I found that it might be spot on for my battery pack:
- I would need about 100V or slightly under 120V wenn HOC
- around 2kwh+
- 250A continous
- 400A pulse
- 15kg max without the case
- 1000 cycles or more
- reasonable price
I have a battery chart and so far this might be the only one that...
On Facebook the guy stated 27 $ per Cell. He was asked for 100 Cells so maybe It´s more in smaller quantities.
Thats the main argument for these cells I guess
Hope you don't pick on me but some guy posted on facebook  battery data and it looked very interesting.
Is something like this available right now? Or are these just impressive numbers that are not real?
My go on a velomobile would be wide DH front hubs(20mm axle) a 1.4 inch wide 19" aluminium motorcycle rim and 24" Schwalbe Crazy Bob tyres but thats just my 0.02 EUR
Your right you will see maybe your type of ridingdriving 8) fits this rim and tyre combo
Maybe you can design the part that...
Hey agnuism
great idea I really like the look of your CAD velomobile.
I am stepping in a bit too late I know can't help it.
My advice don´t use 28" wheels (with regular wide hubs) on a velomobile. Without the ability to lean the front wheels will have a very hard time. The driving will...
I thought about a vehicle maybe similiar to the specs you told. For moving small trailers installing a winch etc.
I don't know your plan but I would go with big electric motors for every wheel mounted to che chassis not using them as hub motors but with reduction. Even if you use Hub motors like...
a 19" motorcycle tyre should fit a 24" bike rim I use a Heidenau K46 tyre on my Hub motor Bike (19" rim) still kinda looks like a bycicle tyre but has more rubber...
I asked enstroj which motor controller to use with their 207 motor. They highly recommend emsiso.com controller weighs about 1,5 kg and is not that expensive. It's called e drive 400.
Nice project like to see it completed and in a frame. What will you use for a frame ?
