    48v 1000w controller help

I think I know why my controller does not work.... Because my wheel motor has a problem. I thought initially it was the controller (of which the old one was bad) but I think the pop I heard when my old controller went out was something in my motor. A hall sensor maybe??? Still have to take apart...

    48v 1000w controller help

48v 1000w KT type. Haven't found documentation for it. Seems to not want to run without the control panel, but they don't tell you this. I have yet to get mine too run. Considering a proven alternative but I'm really strapped on money, big time. Don't want to have my investment not work but...

    48v 1000w controller help

Just a thought: where can I buy just the LCD Control Panel for this controler. I don't see where I can buy just it without a controller. Many thanks. :D

    48v 1000w controller help

Tried it. No luck so far. About to disassemble the controller to see what is going on inside. Other than that I may have to find a simple controller that will get me mobile again. I cannot stay offline like this. This is money I can't afford to keep spending.

Help on my Ezip trailz 2014

Pretty much. It would have been better to have two battery packs in parallel and then add a different cog to get you up to 20 MPH.

    48v 1000w controller help

Found out the five wire "second hall sensor" cable is actually a Cycle Analyst and PAS control Panel wire. It requires a control panal that is compatable. Some are five wire, others are six. Mine is five. Now if I can only find the pins to cross to "Turn On" the bike.... Hooked everything...

    48v 1000w controller help

If it is a second hall sensor connector, and my motor does not come with one, do I need to find a different controller?? Or can I use it without connecting it? I would think it exists for a reason and that I might have wasted money on a controler that does not fit my needs.....

    48v 1000w controller help

The bike may be a Currie but it has since been updated with the Chinese drive. I'll see about the three wire throttle and see how that goes. I agree that the other wide connector might be a display. The other three wire might also be the speed setting. I've seen those on some of the same...

    48v 1000w controller help

I have a 48v 1000w controller that is the closest match I have found to the original controller that came with my motor. Model: KT48ZWSL-ZC14A The old one was a KT48ZWL. The main problem I have is I have no writing specs for either. Most of the connections are universal but the throttle...

    Tutorial Needed for Controller wiring

I've been checking around for some sort of wiring diagrams that would explain some of the odd wiring and their voltages. I have a chinese controller with "brake light" wires but not sure of voltages or if simply a switch. Same for the newer controllers with "brake high/brake low" wires...

    Testing Throttles

I have a 1000w 48v system that I used to replace my Currie eZip 24v setup. A while back while being a absolute noob at wondering "what does this wire do" (brake light wire) I zapped and since then I got a pop from some place and my throttle no longer moves the wheel. Lights on, but no...

    How does your ebike weight?

Currie eZip Trailz - about 60 lbs naked (the bike, no me) Add batteries ( 4 x 12v 15 AH SLA, plus 1 12v 9AH for the lights ) and it adds 70 lbs to the bike ...then my 250+lbs of self.... THEN add saddle bags with my work stuff and it adds up... With all of this, modified rear wheal converted to...
