    Can someone explain these things?

Thanks Chalo, very thorough. I'm sure I typed 11, I wouldn't have typed 'an 13'.

    Can someone explain these things?

Hi DNP is a freewheel manufacturer (no idea what it stands for) and the only freewheel available with an 13 tooth cog. Freehub is the modern equivalent of the old freewheel. Instead of threading onto your hub they have locating splines. It's actually a shimano product, but an industry...

Why do Fat-tires have higher rolling resistance?

Yep exactly. E-touring and fatties are good. (not sure I'd go to 4 inch, but 3 inch yeah) Firstly you can't have a suspension frame because they're not designed for carrying all your shit. Just having a sus fork (hardtail) is pointless. As you said, fatties give squish to the whole bike...

Why do Fat-tires have higher rolling resistance?

Yeah what Chalo said. Everything has its niche. Fatbike tyres are WAY more efficient in their realm. Road tyres in theirs. Maybe the best way to summarise it is this. The rotational mass that is harder to get going, proves its purpose at the next bump. Its harder to slow down too. Steady...

Tire slipping on rim causing valve stem to tear and or flat

Dx32's aren't 'tubeless ready' so you'll have leakage problems. Possibly worse because the seam is pinned instead of welded.

What's the best E-bike bicycle type for touring+camping?

Touring frames generally are longer wheelbase, for heavy-loaded stability and pannier/heal clearance, plus they have all the braze-on mounts for racks, bottles, mudguards. You want all these things if you're touring. Lots of touring frames are now designed with 'plus' size tyres. (In between...

    Beefing to reduce fork flex

Nice to see a dirty bike. Well used. I'd say the sus fork has thrown out the trail and rake geometry. Hard to tell from a photo but it looks like you trail is zero, but that's without you on it of course. Front loading will aggravate handling without some rake, and you've only got about 15mm...

Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Yeah fair call, sorry, I want a surron, just sayin as a planet we should focus on not redesigning the wheel. Losing luna as the US distribution will hurt the US market. A new US distributor won't bring prices down.

Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

I have heard good n bad things about luna. But if you want the surron to survive I'd support them, and buy directly from them. Pay the bit extra. You've got support on home soil. Let's all stop falling down the cheapest wishing well, it's counter productive.

Forum styling changes to enhance the look

Perfect. No confusion that way. BTW, most of America uses dd/mm/yy. The us is alone on this.

Forum styling changes to enhance the look

Did the date format change? It is now mm/dd/yy which is a very confusing backwards way, only used in the usa. No other country does. Could we go back to dd/mm/yy? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Date_format_by_country?
