    2 Speed Xiongda hubmotor

dont' know about that, as I live in Switzerland.. But Xiongda will not sell individual units even to non-EU countries apparently, and www.elecycles.com from Guandong China list the Xiongda as out of stock and asked an awful lot of time for just a price quote: No answer since three weeks. So I...

    2 Speed Xiongda hubmotor

Xiongda out of business? As Bonnie wrote, Xiongda will not process individual orders any more. Are there any alternative sources for such double speed motor? (in Europe preferably)

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

of course it is. On the other hand, with your own ST link you can flash firmware updates as you like.

    'lightest.bike' 1.7kg 1000w mid drive

What size of chainwheel are possible? Could a 53 or a 56 tooth chainwheel be used?

    'lightest.bike' 1.7kg 1000w mid drive

But why should a chain sensing troque sensor be better? It adds mechanical parts to the chain, the pedals will give when pressing, it will be disturbed by chain movements, it requires a quite complicated chain path with several pulleys. A boot bracket sensor does not have these disadvantages...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Same here. Some idea of a roadmap to V 0.20 with KT and both bafang displays would be very appreciated. Also confusing to hear KT LCD3 can't be developed further due to lack of memory and to see the Bafang displays stuck on 0.19 and LCD 3 working on a beta 0.20.

rather not... as an architect I am ok with drawings but no specific GitHub knowledge here.

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

I find it a bit difficult we currently seem to see a firmware 0.19 for sw 102 and one for 850c, and a firmware 0.20 for LCD3, plus I find it especially difficult to locate those firmwares on Github as there does not seem to be one folder containing, say, all beta firmware stuff. Would be great...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

As the SW102 is bluetooth capable: Is it possible to add a transmitter to the TSDZ2 and use SW102 wireless?

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

so that means we all will switch to 850C or to SW102 - if we want to upgrade. But which Display is preferable? Do they have the same capabilities? Are there plans with KT-LCD5 or KT-LCD8 (keep the cable as is)?

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

after flashing back to version 0.19 I found the wheel magnet was too close to the sensor, so version 0.20 beta 1 may be quite ok and I will try that soon.

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

hullo, here's that link. I think it's a bit older than casainho's official file. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1CPGT-V1ZX7FCzfhgbrPMYfbYtY4_JH2R the file format is .ihx and not .hex but if I load it, it looks the same to me. Unlike @jeff.page.rides, for me cadence mode ist not...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Of course, the motor also has 0.20.0 beta1 on it. I'm just assuming the error might be on the LCD rather.

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

I flashed the 'official' beta 0.20.0 beta1 on my LCD3. I feel much backwards turn resistance. I can activate power assist and 3 levels, and also E-MTB assist. Cadence assist does not appear on screen. On all modes there is no assist at all, in E-MTB the motor will turn for a second then stall...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

I do not quite agree here. As the TSDZ2 has way higher RPM, it's torque on a first stage gear will be smaller, hence a smaller gear might be well dimensioned. The slow spinning BBS would destroy a small gear as it applies more force on it.
