Collecting the kinetic energy dissipated through suspension

Think simple. The old style generators that ran on a bicycle tire were nothing more than a spinning magnet in a coil of wire. The current was AC and depended on the speed of the bicycle. At 40 mph they would produce 40 volts and 4 amps short circuited. I dumped this into 4 sub C batteries in parallel which knocked the voltage down to 6 volts and fed it into a 7.5 volt headlight. All you need is a magnet on a piston moving through a coil with a lot of turns of wire wrapped around a cylinder. You can dump high voltage directly into your batteries if the current is low. Or use a super capacitor to level out the loads.
