Anyone know about the specs? All the site says is
This article doesn’t settle it either:

From the article:
Either way, it’s fun to see a Porsche product advertise a top speed of 25km/h.
Can you...
I have an opportunity to build an ebike for a school project, so long as all parts are purchased through a tight list of approved vendors (essentially limited to Amazon as far as ebike parts are concerned).
I have a 26" donor schwinn, ~$1000 of budget for motor, controller, battery, and cycle...
My custom built Yuba Mundo was just stolen :cry: Now it's time for a new ride, with a new goal.
I'd like to build a bike for two purposes:
1) 72 miles around Lake Tahoe in under 3 hours, with minimal assistance. (Avg 24mph)
There's a bike race around the lake on September 11, 2016. So if I get...
I just got my 5404.
500w sticker attached.
But freewheel sticks out 4.5mm from the circle part of the axel. I've measured the inside threads of the freewheel and they correspond perfectly to the threads of the axel, so I cannot tighten it any more.
Will a washer between my freewheel and my...
Does the label/writing go toward the outside of the stator? Red, black, yellow (in my case)... From left to right?
I've got one hall well ready to install but I can't figure out which way to wire it. And my others are covered in epoxy.
I rewired my phase wires last night and had a great run today until disaster. Mid ride one of my halls blew. Confirmed with Lyen's ebike tester. First I thought it was a short from a spinning axel or something but after rewiring all the hall wires and testing with a magnet the yellow Hall on my...
I need a 3-speed shifter for the rear derailleur. It's going to stay on the smallest gear 99% of the time, but in the event of a breakdown I may need to shift to the big gear. I'd like something that doesn't interfere with my throttle and is super minimal. Any recommendations?
Sometimes I can go a block, others only a few feet before the throttle strangely cuts out. Plenty of battery. Brand new Lyen 18fet controller & throttle. Same thing happened on my other controller and throttle.

Apologies for shaky video. I had to hold the front down...
Can someone tell me or link me to the mini xlr numbers for red, black, yellow, green, blue?
Mine are all heat shrunk up and I'd rather not do it again.
Thanks.
I made another commute attempt this morning only to be greeted with some throttle cutout. I thought it was due to Method's LVC Throttle retard so I checked out the cells with the battery medic. ~4.1v everywhere and the HVC button wasn't tripped either.
So I connected a brand new throttle...
Anyone know these guys? Anyone at SXSW this year taking a look? What do you think?

Why would this happen? Even without applying any throttle. Even when switching off power.
Setup:
18S4P lipo connected to Methods LVC/HVC system then to Lyen 18fet controller then to Crystalyte 5304.
I'm at 73.4v, and Methods throttle retard (I believe) is also acting up.
Went strong for 3Ah /...
I've read about folks here adding a hidden switch that shorts / crosses the phase wires on purpose when parking to make it very difficult to do anything but pick up the bike and run. But I don't think I've ever seen photos or diagrams of what's exactly necessary to do this.
Can someone walk me...
I'm getting ready to install a circuit breaker and I'm nervous about it tripping due to vibration or bumps. I can trip the breaker by slamming it into my other hand pretty hard.
Just curious if others have experienced a power cutout due to bumps.
Alright, please help me out here.
I have a switch and a resistor. Now what order do they connect?
The switch:
The resistor:
The switch has 3 poles: labelled [1],[2],[3].
I'm thinking:
pack --> [1]switch[3] --> resistor --> controller
Is this right?
What's the 3rd pole for on the...
Title says it all. What rules are there for connecting LiPo in series and parallel?
I'm plugging in 18S4P. Do I plug in the balance connectors first (to the HVC/LVC board)? Then the parallel, then the series? Does it matter?
I need to build at least a dozen wire joins with 2 or 3 wires merging into one. I did a bunch of experimentation today with different sized bullets (5.5, 6 and 8mm).
Here's what looked the best:
2 or 3 5.5mm bullets with 10awg wire fit nicely into a 8mm bullet. Heat shrink later.
Am I on...
I've got 12 bricks of LiPo waiting to be bundled in an 18S4P, 2kWh pack. Are there any best practices for labeling these packs?
Simple numeric: 1-12? Bundled by grouping: A1-A4, B1-B4, C1-C4? By location (left, right, front, back) : L1-L6, R1-R6?
My friend has a 0 to 80V / 0 to 18A DC Power Supply salvaged from an old office. It works fine, but it's a little roughed up. It's one of those huge old rack server power supplies.
Can I just plug that into any old US outlet and adjust the power to 75v10A and let her ride?
I'm planning a 18S4P pack with 6S1P 8Ah 30C Zippy LiPos. They come with 5.5mm bullets, but is that enough? I also have a hundred or so 4mm connectors laying around.
HobbyKing lists their ratings accordingly:
4 = 93A
5.5 = 100A+ (I can't find anything more specific)
6 = 120A
8 = 170A
