    Motor Analysis Sotfware

Hi, I am currently designing a motor and since Emetor is down I am wondering if there is anything simpler than FEMM that can be used. Motoranalysis does not compile on my computer even after adding proper matlab runtime. Just a simple static magnetic cicuit would be a good start. Thanks for...

    Power factor importance

I am looking to design hub and I was wondering How important the power factor may be. First motor Power factor 0.60 Efficiency: 0.80 Second motor Power factor 0.80 Efficiency : .75 Say with a 10kw controller (current limited on phases like Kelly) Is the second one will transmit 6000W to the...

    Schwalbe Big Apple = smooth

I tried the big apple. This tire is supposed to replace suspension. It cant be done but it is much more comfortable than a comparable Hookworm. I will keep it for sure and it seems to have less drag too.

    9C axel twisting

Hi, I removed my motor to play/upgrade side cover to allow it to pass big phases wires and I found: That I twisted my axel with 18S lipo X 100A So even with a torque arm that clamp the axel, it is not enough, I need 2 !! to share the load. I could tell it was twisting because the opposite...

    9C + Kelly =20% less RPM/V ?

Hi, I have a 9C 2805 on a 20" wheel based on my observation I shoul get 70km/h and I get only 59 km/h at 22-25A x 70V The peak amps go to 100A on start up but as soon as I take some speed they got back down like I am way too low geared. It is like I have 10 rpm/v instead 12.2 rpm/v is Kv of 9C...

    9C rim runout

I just bought a 9C that had quite good runout like 0.15'' and the rim losened all its spokes after 5 km, I did retension them but I had to locktite them since they loosened a second time.
