    Testing for bad hall sensor by using sensorless RC ESC?

    Is this a reasonable thing to do? I have a tiny 35amp RC ESCs. Would it likely run a unloaded hub motor for 30 seconds without blowing up? Could be a quick test to see if it is a hall sensor problem?

    Stripped Screw on Ezee and MAC Motors

    OMG Why don't they use torx or allen screws . Drives me batty. Just stripped 2 screws trying to take my MAC apart, comes with the nice red loctite on the screws. Guess I'll have to go buy a damaged screw remover, or epoxy a nut to it.
