    I have the same problem but without light or other device other than throttle, battery, speed sensor and shunt. When speed goes aywire, the throlttle output shut down. and I get 647km/h ou whatever impossible max speed.

    The power factor varies with load. I think that you will have to model the motor you can use emetor.com You will be able to see an estimation of it when you use sinusoidal current I would use 60% worst case scenario so you have to beef things by 1.66 x Maybe Justin from ebikes.ca can help here

    I am running SK3 6374 149kv. you can go with 162 or 192 kv. There is enough torque for that. Acceleration may suffer. I am contemplating 192kv but I cant recommend it since I dont have experience with this setup. They run great on VESC and 12S I top out at 80A phase current before running...
