that's why I suspect fault is some where else ... you can try to charge your pack again, if it's unattended cell dis-charge you will see it cell balance LED flashing

    Speedict neptune lite

my point is if BMS is defected especially to the cell group 11-20 (not the entire pack) should be caused by tiny ICs not by shorted the main lead, the drain also count its bluetooth searching + mcu power, I am not sure your pack or cell capacity but to drain battery to zero voltage with this...

    Speedict neptune lite

please check your battery pack or anywhere that's drain half of your battery pack ? Neptune took power from top cell which's 20th to ground and even its bluetooth is in searching mode but with its uA level of power drain I don't think it can drain up your cells

    Speedict neptune lite

you should use 54.6v CC/CV charger because 13s * 4.2v = 54.6v, if your charger output 53.6v it's mean 53.6v / 13 cell = 4.12v fully charge to each cell, whether your charger is CC/CV type or not, cell will be charged up to ~4.1v, but it won't get cell balance if traditional BSM, that's why...

some people use Neptune 15 to charge cell up to 4.1v to prolong battery. BU-808: How to Prolong Lithium-based Batteries https://batteryuniversity.com/index.php/learn/article/how_to_prolong_lithium_based_batteries

you can use Neptune 15 as standalone balancer or discharge all cells except cell #2 to reduce cell delta of pack and then charge it up and standalone balance again, repeat these steps until cell delta voltage to acceptance level.

do you mean want a female connector for Neptune ? i pre-ordered one and contacted with Danny, as per his information it will come with 1 x temperature sensor + 1 x ph2.0 16 pin female connector with 150mm long wire ... i suggest 150mm is too short !

as per danny's information, to compare Speedict NEPTUNE's balance feature, you should to check with your BMS make sure it is "TRUE" balance feature ? my understanding is although NEPTUNE's balance current (passive resistive balance) is small but it can make sure cells can be balanced compared...

I don't think danny has time to answer here, as per their information they are going to launch 5 products in coming month. have few emails from danny my understanding of NEPTUNE is based on IC's internal balance circuit therefore the resistive balance current is limited to ~3mA to 5mA, which is...

Are there any good alternatives to the CA v3?

    1. as per my experiences, my speedict download ~ 1:20 ratio e.g. for 1 hours log need ~ 3 minutes to complete. 2. depended on your pack voltage, according to specification the voltage limit ~80v you need to take inrush into account, that's mean when pack voltage is 80v you might need anti-inrush...
