    New Crystalyte Motor series (HT35 / HS35 and HT24 / HS24)

Anybody have any advice and instructions on removing the axil from the hs series motor. This thing is really cheap and nasty. Want to make a thicker one out of stainless and one that can handle thicker wires. Thanks

    New Crystalyte Motor series (HT35 / HS35 and HT24 / HS24)

Anybody had issues with wheel wobble on the hs motor? This motor is of such poor quality. From day one I have had problems. Or coarse poor wire to the motor which I have replaced anyway. But when you take a look and do some precise measurements this motor doesn't show much build quality. I...

    New Crystalyte Motor series (HT35 / HS35 and HT24 / HS24)

Would anybody recommend putting the hall sensor wires on the other side of the axle? So one side would be for the phase power wires and the other for the hall sensors. It would just mean pressing out the axle and machining a grove into the axle like on the phase power side. That way we would...

    New Crystalyte Motor series (HT35 / HS35 and HT24 / HS24)

You need to use a impact drive to get these out. You will find it hard just using a screw driver. Mine came out no problem. Make sure you replace them with stainless m4 hex bolts.

    New Crystalyte Motor series (HT35 / HS35 and HT24 / HS24)

Thanks for the info. Looks like my hall sensor slots on my hs35 are on the other side (non wire side). Would this make a difference in how I mount the sensors? Would the signal wire be the same way round as if it was mounted on the wire shaft side? Can I also ask why the hall sensor wires are...

    New Crystalyte Motor series (HT35 / HS35 and HT24 / HS24)

Why are so many people converting their hs motors to sensored? I thought the best setup was to go sensorless what are the pros and cons. The crystalyte 72v sensorless controllers are meant to work perfectly with the hs series so what's the attraction for sensored?

Hi sorry to sound dumb but can somebody please explain in detail how to open a hs motor? I have taken the screws out etc but that's as far as I have got. Do you need a puller and if so what do you attach the puller forks too as the unit is smooth and doesn't seem to have anything to get some...
