    i think you are correct sir!....but can you tell me what is the difference of NOT using active regen which uses motor as generator and active (which puts motor in reverse) as far as regen?....if it IS putting power to reverse is it still regenerating also?.... not sure i like the implications...

    sorry if you guys already went thru this...so i got my controller set up for anti-theft mode...got a password....how do i activate it?....controller turns off after 120 seconds but it does not go into anti theft mode or even ask for the password :?:

    my regen stopped working get no "brake" notification on adappto screen....here is wiring done by HPC does the black wire need to be connected somewhere?...cannot be certain by looking at adappto schematic...the two wires at top go to a quick disconnect which in turn goes to brake handle

    I had a similar problem with mine it would cut out but do not remember CHARGE coming up....it had something to do with angle correction i think it was the first adappto HPC programmed they were not familiar with it

    have not been here in awhile wanted to say mu MXUS V3 is working great and can climb just about any road I throw at it although it will get hot on extreme climbing and I still have to get off and push on steep loose soil.....but it can do things my 4065 could never do like climb a steep hill...

    hey allex! wanted to say thanks for your help!...took bike up very steep 2000 ft elevation on a hot day (95 degrees F)...after coming back down from mountain with motor still hot from regen,hit almost 48 MPH using only 35 amps and power setting of only 1.4! AND only used 1/3 of battery after 21...

    thanks allex!...ran a bit the other day at 35-45 mph the motor barely got warm...need to take it on 40-50 mile round trip on a hot day and see how it performs got a 2400 watt hour battery should get close to 90 miles on flat ground

    anything detrimental i need to worry about if i adjust PWR levels too high?...on list from doc it said around 1.2 was high THANKS! will try that...what about Wire R PHC? on "NO" setting it selects around 7000 motor KV which seems low for 4T motor....would putting in 8900 KV and selecting "YES"...

    I was riding in auto control mode and the angle correction seems to change as i ride...i guess the adappto is "learning"?? also, Wire R PHC NO setting..should i put YES and set Motor KV at 8900 (4T) for best speed?...it auto selects around 7000 KV right now using only 40 battery amps 90 phase...

    if you are talking to me,think you set set acceleration to "---" which i did do...will not have my bike till monday what other settings should i be looking at? here is photo of inside of V3 4T my V2 motor phase wires started to fuse together at only 35 battery amps/about 80-90 phase amps
