   Alan B is right - the motor and battery are in the front wheel but they dont rotate. To charge you open the port on the wheel cover and rotate until you can get at the charging plug. There is also an LED indicator on the inner panel that gives an idnication of battery charge. The rear wheel...

   Suggest you go to Daymak.com and click on the shadow ebike link. There are all the pictures you could ever want, plus video. My bike is identical to what they show there, right down to the bright yellow!
