    24s (72v) BMS with 20s(60v) battery

    I have a 72v headway battery kit (24 cells, BMS and charger), but I only want 60v worth of battery because I can only fit 20 cells in my frame. Is it possible to only use 20s of batteries with a 24s BMS and charger? If so do I just leave 4 of the balance wires disconnected? Also, does it matter...
