Has anyone tried one of these Chinese enduro bikes?

Any more info Teaux? I'm considering ordering two of these and wondered what the wait was like for delivery / shipping cost / ease of ordering etc? Anything you can share would be most appreciated. :D

    Solar charging

Hi, probably home-based - the array you would need to get useable charge into an ebike battery in the middle of the woods would be too big to carry!

    Solar charging

Hi everyone. I have been thinking about solar charging for my ebike recently but most internet discussions about this topic fall apart when the pack voltage is larger than say, 36v, as the charging input power must be higher than the pack voltage for obvious reasons (unless a booster-type...

Most fun I had with my clothes on!!

Thanks for the kind words. I also use a much fancier pc based program called "Edius pro" (Grass valley) which I may have "accidentally" downloaded from a torrent site  I'd also recommend "Final Cut" if you can get a copy. https://www.apple.com/uk/final-cut-pro/

Show Us Your Homemade Battery Housing

Sorry for delay replying Cal - the mounts were bought for the purpose from, (you guessed it - EBay) and are just alloy heavy duty video camera mounts. Easy to source and pretty cheap too. To mount these to the bike, I used countersunk 8mm stainless hex bolts which fit flush with the mounting...

Most fun I had with my clothes on!!

Thanks - it was fun to make. It would probably have been even more fun cruising the back woods of Vancouver Island though! I drove through your town about 8 years ago and did a whale trip off Nanaimo like a true tourist. What a beautiful place, I had to spend a lot of time persuading my Wife...

Nice bike mate - you had the same conclusion as me about low centre of gravity mounting spot for battery I guess? Similar colour scheme too - take a look! 8) E53Bsp6lFvM

. My MXUS 3000w commuter / tame off roader with 80v / 50A currently until new 18fet modded controller fitted. Beefy components, Saint brakes, 888's and custom batt box. Double Cree headlights to complete the "Totally non- stealth" approach :D (Ok Ok, only the front wheel is a 26'r !)

Yeah, I have used a new set of longer bolts with thread lock and they have all tightened up fine. Job done. (Wheelies away into the sunset!)

    improving MXUS 3000 V2

Hi guys. Got a replacement controller but now got another problem :( I noticed that several of the brake rotor bolts on the MXUS motor have become loose and on investigating / tightening again, they are stripped! I haven't over-torqued them and am now wondering if anyone else has experienced...

    improving MXUS 3000 V2

Many thanks for the advice everyone. Looks like it's time to find a new controller, repair is probably not financially sensible :( Anyone got a spare 100v 60A controller they want to sell??

    improving MXUS 3000 V2

Is the lesson learned " don't use the wiring combination that the motor supplier gives you" ???? So it's time to send the controller back to Lyen in San Francisco? This is turning out to be a bad week......
