    First Ride: Mongoose XR-Pro Bafang 8fun BBS-02

    I took the Frankenstein out for a spin today after I could not stand waiting any longer. 17.25 Miles. Top Speed 30 MPH. Tossed Chains - 2. Battery Disconnects -6 or more. Error codes - 1 (Missed which one it was. I think it happened because I hit the throttle to quickly after powering on.)...

    Sunstar Sues Bafang

    Sunstar Sues over Bafang infringement I wonder what this means to the many hobbyists using the Bafang kit. Not much? How about future parts availability? Or will this just be settled as a claim requesting lost revenue reimbursement?

    Which bike should I UPGRADE for conversion?

    Donor bike dilemma: I have two bikes - 1. an 1985 Panasonic MTB which has pull type rim brakes. It needs a new rear wheel anyways. 2. a 2012 Trek 8.2 DS with caliper rim brakes but can be upgraded to disc. I'm planning a commute of 11 miles round trip a day for work on inner city streets...
