LiFePO4 - building my own pack

Reason for building 2x 36v packs BMS units are easier to come by there fore being possibly cheaper and the same for chargers also battery packs can be kept separate so I can have one in the triangle frame and one on the rear carrier without to much wiring in between. Eventually these may get...

LiFePO4 - building my own pack

Its been a while since I have posted here been into other things like HHO generators etc etc but am now thinking as my original NiMH batteries are getting close to 200 cycles and holding less than 60% capacity its time for new batteries I have seen prismatic rectangular cells with screw threads...

just looking at your cell voltages it seems like on both packs it is the 5th cell as well as the 2nd cell on one pack could there be a possibility there is something in the bms to cause this although I dont think you would want to swap both BMS boards over but that could eliminate cell 2 in one...

    Mounting 5304 motor

Just looking at the latest pic of the torque arm I will first say that I dont know much about them as I dont have one myself but would that setup not make spreading the dropouts easier as the force is applied to a slightly weaker part of the dropouts - a bit like using a lever to get more...

    My Cannon Full Suspension

I used to have the same controller The 36 v controller has 55v FETS so a fully charged 48v pack may get very close to this figure (or even just over) I had thought about doing this myself at one stage but decided against it.
